[Grand Plastic Surgery] Nasal hump reduction based on different cases
Often people are self-conscious about the nasal hump as it is very noticeable from the profile as well as the front view. As the nose is located right in the center of the face it naturally draws attention interfering the other beautiful facial features to stand out. It also disturbs the balance of the profile making people insecure to take pictures at a certain angle. If you are also concern about the hump and feel less attractive due to the noticeable hump on the nose, please remember it can simply be removed with Grand's Nasal hump reduction. Grand's hump reduction can be classified into 3 different cases.
Case 1 When the hump is not severe
There is a lot of cases when the height of the nose and shape is close to ideal but when there is just a slight hump on the bridge. In this case, a simple procedure that shaves off the hump can be performed. This case usually applies to Caucasian clients with a high nasal bridge or people who are satisfied with the height of the nose.
Case 2 When the bridge is low and has a nasal hump
When the nose is flat and there is a hump on the nose bridge, augmentation rhinoplasty can be done after removing the hump to augment the height. Along with the newly augmented bridge the tip will be also elevated and slimmed down to achieve ideal profile and shape of the nose.
Case 3 When the hump is severely large
When the hump is severely large, after removing the large hump it can involve reductive rhinoplasty which is a procedure of fracturing the outer nasal bone and gathering it together. This procedure will allow the nasal bridge to appear slimmer as well as removing the large hump on the bridge. At the same time other materials can be used to smooth the nose bridge and tip plasty can be performed to make the tip more narrow and sharp.
