How to Prevent Smile Line Formation by Grand Plastic Surgery

The smile line, also known as nasolabial fold starting from bottom of your nostril down to your end of your lips determine your first impression and could make you look more aged than your actual age. We frequently use muscle around mouth area when we laugh, speak, frown and chew repeatedly. Therefore with habit or habitual expression, you may form wrinkles easily.

Also, doing facial yoga to relax the muscle tension around mouth area is helpful for smile line prevention. Practicing "A-e-ii-o -u" pronunciation everyday for about 15 ~ 20 times or blowing air into your mouth. or pulling your cheek muscle upward with your palms could be helpful as well.

Once the smile lines is formed, it is extremely difficult to get rid of them. Despite all these efforts, if you already have smile lines and would like to reduce or get rid of them, you might consider "petite surgery" such as filler or fat grafting.
